Micky van der Wind

Micky joined Verschoor & Bras B.V. as a marine surveyor on 1 April 2025. He has a maritime background as an engineer and began his career at sea. After several years working as a Second and Third Engineer on heavy-lift vessels, he transitioned to a shore-based role, holding positions such as Technical Superintendent and later Project Manager. In these roles, he gained extensive experience in the construction, conversion and operational management of both seagoing and inland vessels.

Prior to joining Verschoor & Bras, Micky worked in the wind energy sector, where he served as a Team Manager and Project Manager, overseeing the development and management of complex technical projects, including the realisation of several wind farms in the Netherlands and Sweden.

His strengths lie in his broad technical expertise, his experience with international maritime and offshore projects, and his pragmatic, solution-oriented approach.
